Certification Program Working Group

The Certification Program Working Group is responsible for defining the certification of CHERI products:

• Guidelines – We will define the guidelines and rules that products must follow to be certified. This includes setting the standards and criteria that products need to meet
• Processes – The group will outlines the processes and conditions necessary for product approval. This involves creating a structured pathway that products must go through to achieve certification
• Support – We will also provide support to assist companies in certifying their products. This support can come in various forms, including documents, test suites, or any other relevant deliverables that facilitate the certification process
• Systems – The group will help coordinate the implementation of systems required to manage the certification and lists of certified products. This ensures that there is an organized and accessible record of all products that have met the certification criteria
• Communication – We will also define the message to explain the value of the program and clarify what to expect from certified products
• Continuous Improvement – The group aims to continuously improve the certification program. This involves regularly reviewing and updating the guidelines, processes, and systems to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and relevance
