Sam is a Research Technical Manager within BT’s Research and Commercialisation department, focussing on Cybersecurity technologies. Throughout his career, he has held a range of positions in different fields including engineering, policy and practice, technology scouting, evaluation, customer relations and solutions design.
Today, Sam is working to advance and advocate the CHERI ecosystem from the perspective of Telecommunications providers. This takes the form of pushing existing hardware prototypes into Telecoms use cases, overcoming blockers, as well as ensuring BT is drawing on systems integrators and networking manufacturers to begin the adoption of CHERI into their roadmaps.
