Secure Systems Lab at National Taiwan University

Description

Secure Systems Lab (SSLab) conducts research to advance the security, reliability, and performance of modern computer systems. We investigate core system components—often diving deep into hardware and operating systems—to uncover and address critical security vulnerabilities. We aim to translate academic innovations into practical impact by integrating deployable solutions into mainstream platforms, such as Linux. SSLab is led by Dr. Shih-Wei Li and is under the Department of Computer Science and Information Science at National Taiwan University.

CHERI Activities

We aim to investigate applying CHERI to construct kernel compartments and build robust fault-containment and recovery mechanisms during compartment construction.
